The process

Five stages, handled with care.

A typical Haridwar case takes between four and ten weeks, depending on what you can share with us and the condition of the relevant registers.

  1. 01

    Order a package

Choose a Haridwar package and create your case from any country. You will receive a case reference number immediately.

  2. 02

    Complete the family questionnaire

A save-and-return questionnaire captures the names, places, dates and oral history that help our researcher locate the correct register. You can also record audio of elders directly from your phone.

  3. 03

    Field research in Haridwar

Your assigned researcher meets the relevant panda families in person, requests the appropriate registers, photographs the entries and confirms the findings on the ground.

  4. 04

    Transcription and translation

Trained translators manually transcribe each relevant page from the original script — often old Devanagari — and translate it into clear English. Every page is reviewed by our office.

  5. 05

    Your secure digital family archive

You receive a final report, photographs of the entries, a translated family tree and any audio you contributed — all kept in your private case, to revisit, share and extend later.

Note

Some families' registers can be located within days; others take longer or cannot be located at all. Our packages include clear refund and conversion terms for cases where no relevant register is found.
